The Temptations Review featuring DennisEdwards®

   For more than 30 years, the late Dennis Edwards was considered an influential force in the R&B music industry.  Dennis Edwards replaced David Ruffin of The Temptations. Dennis Edwards was the lead singer for 14 years.  Motown’s first Grammy award was for  “Cloud Nine" in 1968. Dennis Edwards'  gritty vocals were showcased on Billboard hit singles “Psychedelic Shack”, “Runaway Child”, “Ball of Confusion”, “I can’t get next to You”,” Papa was a Rolling Stone” and more top hit records for The Temptations.  Dennis Edwards ,Otis Williams, Eddie Kendricks, Paul Williams, Melvin Franklin, and David Ruffin were inducted into The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1989 and also  earned 16 Platinum albums , 53 Billboard hits and 7 Grammy awards. The Rolling Stone magazine named The Temptations as 100 greatest Artist of all time.

After leaving The Temptations Dennis Edwards pursued a solo career and recorded the smash hit "Don't Look any Further" with Siedah Garrett in 1984. He also performed with former Temptations lead singers David Ruffin and Eddie Kendricks in the early 90's. 

The Temptations Review featuring Dennis Edwards was founded in 1997 and continues to be a fan favorite international  touring act. The current lead singer David Sea performed with Dennis Edwards, David Ruffin and Eddie Kendricks as a back up singer.  This group of Handpicked singers by Dennis Edwards are original members of The Temptations Review featuring Dennis Edwards. Group members David Sea, Michael Pattillo, Chris Arnold, and Bernard Gibson  shared the stage with Dennis Edwards for 25 years. The newest member of the group is Eddie Cameron, Jr. This electrifying group continues to perform the Authentic Motown  songs of The Temptations for fans all over the world. “My Girl”, “Just My Imagination, “ "Ain't Too Proud to Beg", and many more top hits are showcased  in their exciting shows.
